Halo Project Charity
“Our vision is to eliminate forced marriage, honour-based abuse and FGM within society. To change attitudes and beliefs for future generations to break the cycle of abuse and to empower victims to make their own choices.”
The Halo Project is an award-winning national charity established in 2012, dedicated to providing cultural support and advocacy to victims of abuse by offering advice, guidance and support to those suffering domestic abuse and sexual violence including Honour Based Abuse (HBA) Forced Marriage (FM) and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
We work in partnership with other organisation to ensure the best outcomes for our victims and survivors, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met. We also offer a free and confidential national helpline providing advice and guidance to victims and professionals handling such cases in English, Urdu or Punjabi.
Utilising the extensive experience of working with victims and survivors of FM, HBA and FGM the Halo Project have established innovative tailored programmes to meet the needs of BME women and girls.
