Cookie Policy
Last updated: January 2026
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow a site to remember your actions and preferences between pages and visits. Similar technologies such as local storage work in the same way, and this policy covers them too.
Cookies we use
We keep our use of cookies to a minimum.
- Essential cookies: needed for the site to function, including remembering the contents of your merchandise basket and keeping your session secure. These cannot be switched off.
- Payment cookies: set by Stripe when you reach the checkout, used to process your payment securely and to prevent fraud.
- Analytics cookies: used, with your consent, to count visits and see which pages are read, so we can improve the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you.
Your consent
We only set non-essential cookies after you have agreed to them. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings on this site, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Third party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we use rather than by us. Stripe sets cookies to process payments and detect fraud. Embedded video, where present, may set cookies from the video provider once you press play. These providers process that data under their own policies.
Managing cookies in your browser
Every major browser lets you see which cookies are stored, delete them, and block them for specific sites or altogether. Look for cookie or privacy settings in your browser menu. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of this site, including the shop, from working.
A note on your safety
If you are worried about someone seeing which sites you have visited, use your browser’s private browsing mode and clear your history and cookies after each visit. If you are in danger, call 999.
Changes to this policy
We review the cookies used on this site when it is updated, and at least annually. Any changes appear on this page with a new date at the top.
